Weapon switching

Does anyone find the weapon switching in this game to be a little annoying? I use the scroll button on mouse to switch but what ticks me off is that you gotta do that one extra click to switch it. Also the grouping of the weapons makes it so that it takes that 1 sec longer to get the weapon you want.. when you're fighting lets say fast zombies... it makes a difference those 2 seconds you have to spend on choosing weapon.

Hmm, I use Q to sprint...

My fingers know where the numbers are on the keyboard, so I just use that to switch weapons. I also don't really like using the scroll wheel, it is very annoying, I agree.

Have you noticed that in Half-Life 2 you can reload a whole lot quicker than you could in HL1? I'm happy about that one, and I stay alive much longer now too :E
