What I want to see in EP2 or EP3 is....

The forces that defeated Earth's military forces all within just 7 hours. Obviously its not the overwatch patrols that we see in HL2, because those are just either humans in masks or human-based machines. Even the striders and gunships are supposed to be manned by humans (or what was once a human).

Perhaps advisor or advisor-like creatures is what took over the planet in such speed... using mind-attacks?

Whatever forces they used, I doubt Gordon has yet seen it... what do you think it was like?

Striders and Gunships are bio-mechanical. They are not controled by anyone, they are infact, controlled by themselves. This is proven in EP1, when you take down a Gunship Alxy comes along and ask if it is dead.

They are Synths and they are most likely to have being used on the invation. The other 2 Synths we saw at the Citadel might be the ones that caused the most terror on the invasion, but that is something we yet have to find out.

I wouldn't be suprised if the Hunters from EP2 were used as Combine infantry in the Seven Hours War.
