he's probably with resistance as a spy since he was black mesa he probably knows whats going down. He must have much to tell you when you meet him(expansionpack hehe). anyways now that i see he got into the combine it just makes me more interested in the story,though now i won't kill combine because i might kill barney... shit!!!!

Here's a pic of Combine Barney...

Okay here's a clear, easy to see pic of Barney from the Gamespy E3 video compared with the Combine soldiers from yesterday's Tunnels video.

You can clearly see the orange armband and white stripe on the pants of both parties. Another interesting thing I noticed while looking for good Combine shots is that the combine in Traptown wear almost completely different uniforms than the combine in Tunnels...

There's a resistance movement in the game yeah? makes sense they would tseal outfits to sneak round in the tried and tested B-Movie stylee. Alternatively the combine troops could be mind controlled maybe onto either side of the conflict. Who knows...
