Topic says it all.

I'd say the thread has to be a good 3-4 pages to be successful, exceptions are usually made when a thread is locked by post 7. In my opinion, anyways

To be a success, a thread has to:
1.) Stay somewhat on topic (never happens)
2.) Be interesting (rarely)
3.) Perk interests (occasionally)
4.) Not have a post by CptStern (lol)
5.) Be more than one page (premature lockage excluded)

By this criteria, all threads on HL2.net fail.

To be a success, a thread has to:
1.) Make me laugh, chuckle, smile, or get an erection
2.) Have a post by Darkside55
3.) result in at least a short-lived meme between myself, GordonFreeman911, and Toolbooth Willie.

Hold on, before anyone tries it: THIS THREAD DOES NOT FAIL, SO F YOU.

Proceed.

I'm not generally a good thread maker. So mine mostly suck.

I consider it a real victory if my threads make it past the one page mark.

as long as theres one lemon party link, id say its a sure win

Seconded.

Could you guys stop circle jerking for two seconds?

IF A THREAD HAS A POST OF MINE IN IT, IT IS SUCCESSFUL.

Therefore, this thread = success.

more than 4 pages usually means that there are 2 people using it as their private chat room.

I consider myself an expert in the art of thread-making, or at least damn good at it.

If a thread doesn't contain anything from those shithole meme websites, stays on topic, and goes over the 2 page mark... I'd consider it a success.

Most successful thread was the bestiality one.

I like "people" threads, like comment on the above sig, or my object or personality threads. Hl2.net bonding lol

To be a success, it has to get spammed with hundreds of "Agreed" or "Idiot" synonyms.
