not too sure what to make of the fact that HL2 still isnt on Vivendi's list for 2004...? whats going on...? im really crossing my fingures right now, and hope that even though its not on their list for the summer, it will atleast be added for the Fall,, or Winter months

that article is the same re-hash of the same rumor that's been going around for weeks now.

check the date on it. June 11th.

then check the date of vivendi's statement regarding this rumor. June 16th.

how many statements/confirmations/re-confirmations must we go through and explain before people just drop the whole damn rumor and get over it.

meh , what can you do, we all want HL2, Id just hate to see more of these articles crop up, with more prolonging of the games release, basically im not getting my hopes up for an August release, its looking more like septemeber right now, possibly later in the fall.

I just feel mislead by valve all the time. But I guess even they arnt quite sure when their game will be finished and ready themselves

I just feel mislead by valve all the time, thats the only problem I have. the almost total lack of respect for the fans.

if you read those articles you'll notice that every one of them is the exact same report, sometimes just worded a little different. it's all just an AP article being recycled over and over again.

and i don't think valve is misleading at all. concidering the circumstances they've done a pretty decent job at keeping their info (although what little info there is) pretty straight forward. the only thing misleading is the fact that everyone feels the need to exploit every little rumor/tidbit of info they see about this game.

also going as far as saying they have a lack of respect for their fans is going a little far. they've been pretty good about answering peoples e-mails and questions. it's not fair to label them as disrespectful just because it is almost impossible to keep up with our desire to know everything there is to know about this game before it is even released.
