what's the best videocards in this price range?

Hi guys, I'm trying to build a new PC but haven't been caught up with videocard news for awhile....

What's some good videocard suggestions in the price range of between 200-300 dollars?
Is the Geforce 9600 GT good?

The 9600GT costs $150ish but in comparison with the other deals it isn't a good one at all any more.

The best card in that price range is the ATI 4870 < $300, almost 250 with rebates. Although you can get pretty close with a 4850 @ $175 or less with rebates.

A 9600GT would be closer to the HD 3870 on this chart.
