Mine nowadays would probably have to be Popular Science. :smoking:

Totally love'em, although I get the feeling they were really meant for those that have stock investments in certain breakthroughs and products. Kind of like a "gambling" venture for the scientifically minded.

For this reason, there are way too many ads and less of the good stuff.

Funny thing is, many of Popular Science's predictions are hardly ever correct. They used to have a "Popular Science 10 years ago" section and I don't see it anymore. Wonder why? :|

I used to be into the gaming magazines like Game Informer and such but because I'm becoming less and less able to game these days due to life's busy quirks (getting old and having responsibilities sucks) I hardly bother gettting them anymore. I mainly just liked reading the games that got crappy reviews anyways. Some of the things they say about games with a score less than 5/10 is pretty funny.

Well? what kind of magazines do you people read anyways?

My favorite gaming magazine is Australian owned and grown, PC Powerplay.

PCGamer UK, or PCZone if i cant find PCGamer.

Used to get Warhammer mags too, but that was like..6-8 years ago when i was collecting.

Teen Beat!

No shit wait

I haven't read any magazines in a very long time. Used to read mainly gaming magainzes; PC Gamer, EGM. I liked reading Toyfare because it was funny, and every now-and-then I'd read an issue of Dragon (which got replaced by an online 'zine).

Empire. The worlds biggest movie magazine.

Scientific American

EDIT: SciAm is like Popular Science on steroids...and brains. It might not be as breathtaking or interesting as PopSci, but its much more accurate, and has much more detailed articles about the latest scientific news and discoveries.

I used to read Fangoria, but I lost interest a while ago. Game Informer and EGM now.

I'm subscribed to PC Gamer and PC World, atm. So those.

PC Gamer is really the only magazine I've ever read.

Do the music product catalogs from the sites I've ordered from count? :p

I'll have to agree with you here theotherguy. SciAm is waaay more down to Earth on more recent breakthroughs rather than trying to predict what future technology is gonna be like. Which is what PopSci tries to do oftentimes.

That's what I was more interested in, not the nitty-gritty scientific details on the latest breakthoughs and discoveries. I like high-tech, but SciAm makes my head hurt. :(

Though I should probably read them more often if I want to embark in some hi-tech career/project in the future.

I really like Wired.
Also, White Dwarf for Warhammer.

Man, the australian and UK versions of PC Gamer are way better than our version :(

I also read OXM and Scientific American.

triple D big momma bikers

oh and The New Yorker

I dont really read magazines too often...but usually something science/space related

I read Empire! And PC Gamer UK, and sometimes Time or The Economist.

Edge and No Quarter (i've embraced the geek within).
