Where is the Exporter for 3D STUDIO MAX?

I read in news from one of Valves updates that they released the source code for a 3D Studio Max exporter but I cannot find it anywhere... any ideas?

ok, I found it after I created a mod in utils/smdlexp

My next question is, has anyone managed to compile it fully as I keeping getting errors.

I cant find the exporter :S I've looked all over... I see Maya and XSI though
