No not HL but HL2 :) what about a HL2DM game ?

DOD sounds great....but Im GMT -8 so what time would that be for me?
 
Sure thing. Instead of setting a time I suggest you just say "x number of hours from now" then everyone can look it up from the time under your post. :)
 
Ah well badger, i've heard you suck at Deathmatch anyway :)

Seriously though, deathmatch or DOD, i dont mind, if someone just gets an ip now for either game, with enough empty slots on it i'll join and play with you and others, might as well do something.

well, right now it's 2:20, i'm thinking something like 9ish pm, so around 7 hours from now, i'll just be back here and update this post or something, deal?
 
erm 7 hours from now are you mad? its 20 past 8 here in the UK where MOST people here are from, in 7 hours is 3:20 am in the morning on a WORKING DAY. Sort your head out, i propose we get going as soon as possible, or at 9 pm which is 40 minutes from now.
 
Sod it, I'm going to the pub - I'll prolly be around at 2AM anyway :)

This care for a better planing. Couldn't we agree on one day, open a big CS:S / HL2: DM server with a password, for everybody to join? On a sunday or something...
 
I concur with Glenn. I used to be damn good at DoD back in the day :)
 
7 hours from now is out of the question for me. It's 9:20 here and I've still got some stuff to take care of. I also need to get back into a decent sleep cycle, so I'll probably be heading to bead at around 11-12.
 
i'm at work right now, and after i have to go to school, let's just move this on the weekend, or if you are from US let's do it around 9pm as i said earlier
 
Okay now its about 30 minutes till we go, we need to decide on a game, i guess its going to be DOD? And on top of that a server to play on, there will be enough of us to fill up a whole server probably...so its either gotta have alot of slots or be empty. Any map preferences? Lastly the least important thing, anyone wanna Tag up for it, HL2.net | *nickname* whatever.

Badger...i watched you play once and sadly i killed you more times than i've seen badgers...and im not reveiling the total number of sightings, and i was using a different alias. har har. However i hold my own...very well in DM, but sadly it seems DoD fans are out tonight. So People Decisions to be made now, need to be in fast here.

I'd prefer to play HL2DM tbh, its a nicer game which 75% of people dont understand why its so good. The HL2.net server has too few slots for it, so another server? can someone run a dedicated server with about 12/14 slots? I would but i have a router which doesnt like it. We could just find a random empty server, but then we cant change maps and might be advertising?

Oh and badger, if you could sort something out like that, it would be awesome, much appreciated, we'll leave it with ya :)
 
I'm up for HL2DM almost anytime. IM me if you wanna play.

Just as long as I am not sleeping nor at school.
 
oh, i got so sick of hl2dm after like 5th time playing, there just no real stratagy, just run around i kill people

HL2DM is amazing. Anybody who thinks otherwise is an untermenschen.
 
cmon stop moaning deathmatch you need to be awake all the time, busy busy busy, if you switch off your score isn't 214 -30, its 30- 30 which sickens me. I suggest you give it another try but commit yourself, I am the stunstick king. shall we try the HL2.net server?

(p.s. Badger...sorry dude i really didnt notice my inbox was full, didnt know sent items were saved as well, sorted it now...so anyone who wants to be my friend can PM not that you'd wanna!)

We should be playing now really, anyone who can get onto the HL2.net HL2DM server its '82.136.36.19:27017' i might go in a second, but it can help but feel the general attitude seems a little deflated right now. So try and get slots people, its only gonna eventually be 10 people there which is sucky.

Oh and side note to Zeus, i dare you to make a 'i have 1000 posts' thread once you pass those extra 50, wonder what would happen *casts memory back* :)
 
You people can stick to your infantile CS. I will go play HL2DM like a god.
