I can understand in EP.1 why you didn't-you fall from the Citadel,surely your guns would be buried
EP.2,well,maybe your guns fly off the train when the car smashes into it

but there is no reason to not be armed in EP.3 since it doesn't end violently

Or something else that does not involve the helicopter since I don't beleive valve will make alyx pilot that thing with her current emotional state.

You will either start only with Crowbar, pistol, smg/magnum or you will have all the weapons but be unable to use em, being stapped in until there is a heli crash and your weapons are buried, its always valves way of letting new players get to know the weapons slowly

why not make the entire game finding totally new weapons
except the gravity gun and crowbar?
