Will the true hammer fall on Earth during, or after Episode 2?

Episode Two will be the 'calm before the storm' - the message has been sent, the Combine are cut off, and the Resistance is trying to hunker down before the shit hits the fan. Everything hangs in the balance.

Episode Three will be the shitstorm, at the end of which, Gordon will leave earth.

Half-Life 3 will probably involve rallying all the races oppressed by the Combine and boom-shakka-lakka-lakka.

Ep3 will be either the "Empire strikes back" sort of thing or it will be when you go to the artic like Samon says.


IMO if you go to the artic Valve should have weather effects (like in ep1 there was ash which was a good step), since we are going to the artic there should be a snow blizzard if we are going there.

If you guys want a new enemy how about a female combine Assasin?

The Combine assasin can use a sword(instead of a sniper rifle), they're very quick & stealthy. Instead of the white uniform they had in the concept art they can have a jet black color, but still the elite uniform for a female but jet black instead of white & are very quick.That would be formitable enemy.

I miss them Stealthy chicks in the original HL, they were tough to kill off in Hl1 especially in groups, I don't care what weapon they have...It could be a silenced weapon(Splinter cell style), A katana made of Combine steel, They can come down from ropes & jump really high.

It would need to have great A.I. Right now Combine Overwatch are slow, bulky, just shoot (unless you come to close they will wack you with their weapon), & have no tactic's.

And here's hoping the first place we visit off-world--or rather, off-spacetime--is wherever the G-man holds base. Where does that one door at the end of HL2 and the beginning of EpOne lead to? Certainly not on Earth, I'd wager. That's the place I want to see.

When the Combine's whole army comes to take back earth....everybody on earth that intends to fight off the combine in some way will die including Alyx, Barney, Dog, Kliener, Mossman, & Eli will all die...while G-man would have pulled Gordon out just in time to save him. Half Life 2 has an emerse environemt...Just think about the time you looked upon those civilians gathering food, bleakly following others only to open the door to be greeted by an even more doomed Eastern European architecture. Paving for roads, quintessential corner shops...Only to see a massive disorted alien obect towering miles above the rath in front of you...a great unknown force, has transformed this social hell into something even more horiffic...

WTF! Ninjas and Katanas? Dear oh dear! I don't follow Half Life for that!! I know it might travel slightly off the path of reality, but there's no need to take the piss!

That would be awesome storywise, but gameplay wise, I don't want a Master Cheif VS Tartarus type battle between the two beacuse that would just suck. I think I'd prefer them to never directly meet again but prehaps it would be cool if they did spin offs of HL2 like they did with HL1. Opposing Force 2 might be pretty cool, I dunno.
