The "legal tabloid" abovethelaw.com named Ron Tolkin "Court Reporter of the Day" last month after the 61-year-old Brooklyn stenographer was called upon to wrestle a rampaging criminal to the ground in open court.

After being threatened with a razorblade, Tolkin responded "Try it on me, man, I'll kick you in the ****in' balls". And then he kicked the criminal in the balls.

You can't text search audio files. Also they are easier to search through (looking for a specific incident for example), store and have hard copies of.
