How crappy would it be if you died before you got to play Oblivion. I was just thinking, what if there are people out there that are anxiously awaiting the release, yet fate has chosen them to die one day before. It's kind of sad when you think about all the hopes and dreams crushed by death. If I'm going to die, I will request Oblivion on my death bed. Maybe if I went to heaven God would get some shipments. What do you think about this?

I think maybe this is the way you intended this thread to read.

Hell no man. I'm not like that. I'd just die a virgin.
Anyway, back on topic. What are your thoughts about this?

what the hell is Oblivion?

what kind of game is it? FPS? RTS?

what the hell is so special about it?

any screens?

Although I would pick sex over Oblivion, it would no doubt suck. However... dieing anytime would suck so that isn't really saying much.

God isn't on the fedex mailing list.

I don't think fedex has a mailing list.

Jelly of the month clubs have mailing lists.

And when did God share this divine knowledge with you, hmmm?

It's common knowledge, my friend!

Hell... you can't even send Santa Clause mail these days! It all gets rerouted somewhere else!

I meant delivery address.

Hmm...Would you like to find out?
I'd be more then happy to answer you this question.
All you have to do is just give me your address and a detailed description of yourself.

Being Mormon, I couldnt pick between sex and Oblivion, whole chastity bit. But if i wasnt, id pick sex.

Well...It would be Awesome! If you died and you really wanted to play Oblivion, you won't get to play the game, you'll be IN the game. If heaven is heaven, then that's what will happen..you can play all the games you want, it's just your IN the game!

You'd stab them all to death with your jello spoon?

If you knew you were going to die just as Oblivion came out.. trust me, you wouldn't care about oblivion anymore.. at all.

You would spend your last moments with anyone that cared about you and reflecting on your life, saying "what if" and probably feeling sorry for yourself, and if you value your life at all you would likely be scared.

Ive watched someone dying and she was so scared knowing she had a day to live that she nearly died from fear.

Your a sad person to think of this thread. Good day to you sir.

I'd say it would suck! I would ask for Oblivion rather than sex too! Although there are some more important things I would need first, there is still time to rob people before I'd die.

I think this thread is meant as a joke.

Madog, stop posting stupid crap.

Realising your own mortality is neither clever nor intresting.

Why do you let an imposed relgion make your descisions for you?

He doesn't. He chooses to follow the commandments because it brings him happiness.(or at least, some peace of mind)

My new computer just died before I got to play oblivion ;(

You fool! You truly know nothing. Reflecting on death is something all of us should do often since it is inevitable. We must find a way to seek inner peace and happiness before our demise. Or if you choose to suffer and like that, then that is fine too.

Solaris is also just jealous of the Mormons because of their great discipline and self-control.

You been living in a deep dark cave for the past few months or something :|

I recall a thread exactley like this a few days before hl2 came out. Its funny to watch game anticipation for a game that I haven't really heard about...it really puts my anticipation for hl2 in perspective.

Um..if I was gonna die before next tuesday the last thought on my mind would be "oh my god! I won't get to play oblivion!"
