Or a pimple, which is what it actually more than nothing is. And I know it's not a big deal, but these forums aren't as bustly as they used to be, so we have to do lots of things to jump start them.

The best thing to do with Boils is generally leave them alone.

continually bursting them just aggrivates surrounding tissue and will prolong the boil.
 
I had something like that a while ago. You just press it until some... 'head' thing comes out.

DONT continue to squeeze all the crap out of it.
You need to leave it for like a week so that it drys up and heals, then you can pick it off and a gaping wound will not be left.

still not exactly sure what your problem is with me, but it seems every post i write, there you are trying to start a flame war.

imo, it's a pimple.
 
actually no i haven't been flaming, all i have said in this post is that i though the bump looked like a headless spot.

no flaming here, none at all.

Come to think of it, I had one on my cheek about 4 or 5 months ago. It was horrible so I just squeezed it constantly for about half an hour, then the next day it was a scab. I picked the scab off and it was clean skin underneath.

I'm amazed at how a thread about a red bump got 5 pages. I suppose the cat + gravity thing was a lot worse though.

Apparently if you put toothpaste on spots and stuff it makes them go away. I tried it once, it just buuurns.
