Yeah i watched the Spike Video Game Awards and The Orange Box wins not a single award!! In the "most addictive game" award Halo 3 won over The Orange Box, now thats just plain wrong.
 
Showing the awards on women in tight painted bodysuits was "D:-able"(even though I saw a nipple outline).

I lol'd about the Jack Thompson joke, the big daddy, and the "YOU CANNOT MOCAP A MOCAP! THERE'S TOO MANY BALLS!!!" on the other hand...
 
That really sucks... I was going to watch it here west coast time, and now not bother because I was hoping the Orange box would get something...
Must have been mostly console games also, huh?
 
They didn't even show clips from Portal when showing off the Orange Box. :|
 
Yeah I loves the painted ladies also they didn't event say the words "Assassin's Creed".

It's Spike TV. I'd be surprised if any PC game was given a nod for an award.
 
probably because it was conciderd "too short." retards, it wasn't supposed to be HL2 in leangth... awards people are dumb.

Well i don't think it's because The Orange Box is for PC because it for 360 too and they award it for game play not system. Seeing as how Crysis won something, but i think it didn't win 'cause there dumb.

I didn't watch it although I originally planned to, but this is absolutely ****ing rediculus. The Orange Box didn't get one ****ing award.

I think it deserved at least one award in how touching the ending was and everything. Episode 2 IMO deserved (if it were applicable for video games) a academy award. I cannot put into words how ****ing obsurd this is. Valve deserves some sort of recognition.

You know what... even though I have the PC version of the Orange Box, I am getting the Xbox 360 version of the OB. Since I am getting the Xbox 360 for Xmas! :D

They won the breakthrough tech award right? Still, it's shit that they did not get any awards. They should be getting an award for tf2 in itself. It's the biggest multiplayer game in my country, ok and probably the world now.
 
a video games award show made by people who make tv shows? ..hey lets invite a radio station to create a video games award show, and maybe we could go to the National Ballet so they could do a video games award show or the National Endowment for Mimes Across America, perhaps they could be goaded into pantomiming a video game awards shows

As for me, I couldnt give a shit about awards from any source. I ****ing loved the game, and I dont need to see that it got an award in order for me to realize how good it was.

I almost did a facepalm at life. Halo 3... addictive? It's possibly less addictive than the first two, and yet there's TF2/Portal and the Episode 2 acheivements... all of which I could play until the sun set. And yet... Halo gets a fucking Award??
 
That is your opinion. Personally I think Halo 3's multiplayer is very addictive, more so than Episode 2 and Portal cause they are so short (TF 2 is debatable).

Really, I dont give a crap what Spike TV thinks. Its Spike TV.

video games awards are shit, ep2 rules and halo 3 MP is incredibly addictive
 
It's not going to make me play TF2 any less, nor take away the fond memories of playing Ep2 and Portal for the first time, so: big fucking whoop.
 
the most addictive game was voted by gamers all over the world; so it doesn't surprise me that halo 3 won. i would consider orange box one of the best this year but in no way is it addictive.
 
Valve don't need superfluous awards, they have us!
 
Because gamers already play HL 2 and EP 1... Waste money if I already have a HL 2.

HL2 and EP1 are free in the OB. You are, in theory, saving 70 or 80$ by buying it. If you bought just TF2, portal and ep2 alone, it would cost like 90$.
