Great, I really liked GRAW on the 360 aside from one thing, teammate AI SUCKED and I really mean SUCKED, so hopefully they've improved that.
 
Yeah, the AI of both the team mates and the enemy really put me off this great game. Hopefully it's been improved.
 
Woot! GRAW was a very fun game. I loved the feel of Mp.
 
From a preview I've read they've improved enemy AI atleast. They'll flank, work in squads and actually advance on your position, if memory serves. At the very least they'll, you know, show some kind of movement.
 
The first one sucked. Hopefully this one will be better... much.
 
From seeing the screens/videos and reading the previews, it sounds like it'll play much the same to the first one, and be more of an 'upgrade' than a sequel as past Tom Clancy games have been. Personally I really liked the first one, for a while, but once you get over the glossy exterior it's way too easy to nitpick since there are so many things they've done wrong with it. Hopefully this one will atleast improve over some of these things.
 
yay, i really am excited. i love all the tom clancy games, i even bothered to read the books. should be awsome from the screens.

I disagree. The 360 one was a birlliant game (though extremly frustrating sometimes). The PC version was very bleh though, I hope this one will be better for PC.
 
Well, the PC version was made by a small-time Swedish dev, and not by Ubisoft themselves, it remains to be seen what they decide to do with this game.

Nice, which ones?:) My fav Clancy book is Red Storm Rising which he wrote together with Larry Bond iirc.

have you played the first? for 360?
it was pretty fun, even with all its problems
but they're vastly improving AI in this one + graphical upgrades, more weapons, gadgets and support vehicles
its gonna kickass!
 
Looks alright. I like the upgrades they've made to things that weren't so great in the first game (ie - the cross-com actually being good for something now), but I wish they'd have updated the combat a bit more. Atleast by the looks of it it's pretty much the same, and it wasn't really enough to keep the game interesting for very long in the first one.

Not usually, some MP demos have required it though, but you can usually not use MP without Gold anyway.:)
 
Well as i remember Microsoft announced that Gold Account Users will get Demo first, And Silver in a later date ( a week later maybe )
Check if you can download it

mmmmm just played the demo
loved it, the graphics are great, the gameplay feels better.
tho they dont give you much time to command your squad so i cant really tell if they did work on the teammate AI

So, let's say I don't have a Gold account, but I happened to get the demo onto my computer... is there any way to get it onto the X360 HDD and get it to recognize it?

Meh.

It took me 15 minutes from the time I pressed "Play" on the dashboard until I finished it. I even took my time to watch the little cg vid, config controls and look at the tips.

They put you in 1 good fight and they stop the demo right in the middle of it.
 
Yeah very short I might get this game after my finals (but I might get the first one before then now)

gah, too short.

anyway, it was decent, the new controlling of uav/mule was cool and some other things were neat.
 
the new cross-com system is awesome
i love being able to see what your support/squad units are doing
plus the medic is sweet!
definately gonna pick this game up
