Yay for weird stutter!!

It was odd, but when I first loaded the game, it was awesome, perfect even! Then, the roommate joined me. INSTA STU-STU-STUTTER.there are a couple of seconds of OK time, then it hits. it's as if I am getting 10 FPS, but I know I'm not. The netgraph is off the chart for some reason. I've verified integrity and all that jazz, just haven't deleted/reinstalled. Not really that important to me atm. Also, I have tried to roll my drivers back to 191.xx or something, still no go. The only thing I can see between what is happening with me and others is 64 bit OS. I'm running Windows 7, maybe there is an issue?:rolling:

*EDIT* L4D1 works fine, still. That's is something most people say are happening with them. 1 and 2 are broken.

Have you tried turning off multicore rendering?

Turning on for me in both L4D1 and 2 causes "aim stutter" where if I move the mouse while doing anything else(running, crouching, etc.) it starts "skipping", which makes aiming precisely impossible.

Well, tried last night and it worked. Yay! I did nothing to it \=

try running the game in a window with NO BORDER
that's what fixed it for me
