I've recorded these on my second playthrough, they are correct 100% and also I've counted them by my self.

wtf who counts this, especially on a first playthrough. I dunno, with all the games together it's a huuuuge number. And especially if it's not just playing through the game but dicking around in different chapters, we've all done a shitload of that.

I decided to play the entire series straight on a whim, and timed myself for the hell of it.

the only thing I recorded was the play though time of portal .. but that was only cuz a local computer shop was holding a tournament to see who could play through the fastest. I totally won at 24 mins ^.^

In total, most likely yes, I have cleared it about 5 times each time taking about 10 hours because I go through it slow, then about a zillion times that I have nearly completed it but only got half way through and gave up, so in total yes, maybe more to be honest, I mean if I also added the time I played through the game while using SMOD, then maybe about 100 hours

I know, it's insane, but Half Life 2 is My most favourite game ever, not sure why, it just is the only game which never EVER ceases to bore me.

Well, that would be on topic if this was about what we like about the game.

I garuntee, with mods included (That don't utilize new maps, but all the originals.) I have probably clocked in over 100 hours just with HL2. First I had it on my Dad's (crappy) computer, then on XBOX, which I played the shit out of, and now on my computer. With SMOD and GMOD (Using the game maps) I have definately played over 200 hours of hl2 alone. I also played the hell out of HL1, because it was, in fact, the best game I had ever played. I remember, mostly, beating the shit out of the guard that is sitting on the floor on Power Up and painting the walls...

I haven't really played the episodes much, though. I think I'm waiting for some mod to put them all together before I start playing them... Though, maybe when i get my new video cards I'll play Episode 2 more.

Yeh, what I mean't was with the on topic thing, was the fact its about HL2 in general, geez I dunno.
Anyway yeh I spent yonks on the original Half Life 2 because it's just so freakin awesome.
