Zombies!

Why do all the zombies wear white shirts, like the original ones? Do the headcrabs have a very specific liking for white clothing? Or do the rebels all wear shirts in an act of rebellion agaisnt the gray clothing most civvies seem to walk around in?

The moan in reverse makes me wonder, are the human hosts still alive and able to think clearly? Makes it even scarier to be headcrabbed. Being controlled by an alien that's blocking your vision, and in continuous pain...

The shirts look like regular citizen style clothing.

As for the headcrabbed people.. I'd say yeah they do mostly still feel/remember, the poison ones seem to be in even more pain than regular ones, the fast zombies seem pretty much dead and don't feel nowt no more, regular ones seem to feel pain to a point.

Doesn't seem like a nice way to go.

Yeah I was listening to those sounds, trying to figure out what they were saying, and wondering what happened to the "Oh God help me!". They obviously thought it was a bit too extreme and reversed it

Just a thought, kinda off topic: Maybe the fast zombies are an evolutionary step up from the Gonome. Instead of the higher bulk needed to grab people, the zombies that were faster were better at catching wild game once people were gone, and hence they survived (and didn't starve). Maybe the "fast headcrab" has simply learned the same thing.

If you shoot off the fast zombie headcrab it just looks like a body with muscle and some bone. Maybe they decay faster with a fast headcrab on?

The fast zombies are just like regular zombies, only their skin was "flailed" as the guide puts it.


Oh, and the reason I hate using fire on zombies is because the innocent people inside them still feel it, as you can hear from the clip.
