I was watching lost on tv last night and there was a bit where some people were being chased through the jungle by the big monster thingie and it made this noise which sounded exactly like the noise that striders make. Actually im sure it was exactly the same noise.

Anyone else notice that?

p.s. Apologies for wasting your time.

I remember hearing somewhere that J.J Abrams was a HL fan.

I would love him to do a TV show on HL.

Lol, actually I have been quite enjoying it. I think, provided you dont take it too seriously, its not bad although it does get shockingly cheesy at times.

There is an episode on Lost where some of the characters are playing HL1 and Sayid says "You have to use the crowbar" and then someone else says "That only works against zombies."

Lovely :)

It was Lost and you're right Ralph, it did sound like the Strider.

I returned temporarily.

Odd things happen when you go away from the internets, I got a job, won money, got back into Martial Arts, started going to the gym again.

On the downside, I miss talking to internet friends dearly. ;(

Which one was that?

LOST IS HL
Jack Shepard's dad is obviously the g-man. That noise and the Iraqis are even playing HL1 on a Playstation in 1 episode!

Haha, I was thinking the same. And I started jumping and shouting at the TV screen when they were playing Half-Life.

I must have been too busy gasping at the pwnage-ness of Lost to notice that part. D:

Can someone specify the episode?

Not entirely sure, but i think its the one where Sayid is with the Iraqi mates who are making the bomb, and they are in that room, where Sayid finds a bug in the clock. And they are playing playstation at the start of the scene. It's easily recognisable on the screen, but the crowbar comment kind of nails the message home. I wanted to say something at the time, but the people watching with me would have judged me for commenting.
