Alot of people have been saying that if shephard returned that he would have to hunt down gordon. What if instead of doing that he just sent him to do whatever he was going to get gordon to do?

this is just a quick thought.

PS: what do you think Gman was going to have gordon do next?

I hope Shepard doesn't return, and the G-Man was going to give Gordon to "the highest bidder", which I think is the Combine (hence the fact the Vorts took him away).
 
G-Man must have seen some value in Adrian, and is still likely to use him one way or another. Why would the G-Man take Adrian out of the nuclear explosion just to keep him preserved in stasis for eternity? If G-Man wasn't going to use Adrian Shephard in any way, why bother moving him to another dimension?
 
Gman is gathering fighters like for an arena. And he and his clients sit back and watch the carnage and bet on who goes the farthest.
 
Maybe it's him you play as in Episode Four? If not him, I wonder who it is.

Well i haven't played Opposing Force and i think its too out-dated now to play, but if shepard was put into stasis by the G-Man, then it would be pretty obvious that he will want to use him again at some point. But for what purpose i really dont have a clue

Actually your wrong, because a lot of people may find them too out-dated to play now with the graphical prowless and engine power of modern games, so shh
 
Yeah, but if not for anything else, its worth playing it for the story.
I played everything not long before hl2 came out, so i got the story.

*sighs* yeah, I just think that Gordon (some how) gained all this gn experience while shephard >and Barney from Blue Shift< were pre-trained, you just have to wonder how Gordon became the legend he is today all from pushing a crystal into an 'Anti-Mass Spectrometer'... I love that Machine... What Valve should do, is remake Half-Life 1 with new graphics and maybe a new bit of storyline!!!

I don't play OP4 anymore because of how the graphics were too low quality

Install the High-definition pack. It's not source, but it is (beleave it or not) better than some of the crap I've seen developers call "next-gen".
 
The Hi-Def pack was abysmal. :|

Seriously, everything about it was just wrong aesthetically. I mean... look at the G-Man ffs!

You (as ASHPD), assisted by your lovable squad of cold emotionless Combine soldiers will blast your way though wave after wave of mawmen, antlions and vortigauts and reach your final goal, freedom.

He never forgot about Freemen, and he's getting his vengence this Holiday season.

rofl, i know Sherpard is probably never coming back (unless he is in portal which is way to obvious for valve), it would just be nice for some closure to that storyline.
 
He did get closure. He's in his own dream world,happy, not really knowing he's on a plane (without snakes :( ) for all eternity. At least IMO.

Why can't you just let people express their opinions? I really don't see any harm in it. If you see a thread title with Shephard in it then don't open it. It's that simple. If you stumble across a post that mentions Shephard... then stop reading it and skip down to the next one.

Trust me on this one.

Hmm, I wonder why people might bring him up all the time. Oh yeah, because they actually LIKE him.
But, there's been more than enough threads on the matter, that I can agree with.
 
Shephard is gone, if all goes well (and it will) we will never see him again! :thumbs:
