Hi who has the E3 600mb movie clip, or know where i can dl it from??

Not File planet or gamespy (i aint no member.) and fileplanet is being a pain and isn't letting me log in grrrr.

it says half-life 2 will have 12 chapters which will have 3-4hrs play on each

if u are wondering about the chapters, they will prob be like the first half-life and show the subtitle coming up naming the area.
(u know wat i mean.)

If you've already downloaded the steam films then there aren't much to look at in the 600Mb teaser, but there are some things that they haven't released yet as a Bink movie (yeah, I'm thinking about the strider).
Find it at Fileshack.com and then search for Half-Life 2 under Movies. Then "Half-Life 2 E3 2003 Presentation - High Res" will pop up, and they've even made it into an avi file so it's only like 470Mb.

EDIT: You have to create a user at fileshack.com before you can download it, but it's 100% free!!! But you're going to have to wait maybe a couple of minuts before you can start downloading, because like at fileplanet, many users download at the same time, but fileshack is a lot more loyal!

i have seen a 10min preview from a mag and it basically shows all the 12 movies (but only bits of each. was good. like i loved the strider, buggy and jus the tech demo start )

Try registering again? I just logged in once, then turned on the automatic login. It even went so long I forgot I had an account, it just logged on automaticly, easy... They both have them for free I beleive, but true the wait can be long...

cool. i am dl number 7. and if it works (i used this site before wasn't good with dl. wasn't supported.) but if it works when it has fin dl, then i will get 8,9,10,11,12 from it.

There has been no official announcement regarding a release date for the next bink video.

If you haven't seen them yet I suggest you do, but after the E3 presentation because they are a lot better quality.

Just a friendly warning. There are a lot of kids on here that get VERY overworked if you post something that's been said before. Whereas I occasionally make the rare comment here and there I never insult people or be a major pain in the arse about it. Basically, prepare yourself for it, or use the Search function of the forum

i jus read that someone said that the 7th bink would be out 4pm thier time today so for us uk it would arrive 9pm, and i don't c it! oooo well.

Always best to do a search and make sure something you were intending to say hasen't been discussed before but I won't stand for children being abusive because of simple mistakes that are bound to happen over time.

Anyone found being abusive when a simple "this has been discussed before m8, in this thread: http://...." would do the same trick will have their post edited and then watched for futher abuse.

What are you on about? There has been no suggestion from any high source that the next videos will be out within the next 24-48 hours. No one knows when there'll be coming out - I just guessed that it'd be today and I was wrong. My next guess is that Erik will activate the preload at 4pm PST or 10pm PST which is 12 am or 6am GMT and it'll be available to watch at 4pm PST or 12am GMT tomorrow. But that's just a guess based upon no logical fact.


I swear this is how delay rumours are started y'know?
One person in some forums somewhere says "I bet HL2 won't be here til at LEAST Christmas 2003!!!" then it gets spread around and eventually a respectable news site ends up posting it announcing that a source at Vivendi said "HL2 won't be here til at LEAST Christmas 2003!!!"
