EDIT: Plain logo added, too.

Here's a nifty logo I made to correct some of the inadequacies in the other logo(s) floating around here. It's in SVG, so you can modify it and print it resolution independent, blah blah.

Oh, the slogan is just random. Seemed appropriate for the Enrichment Center. The logo itself is fully editable, you could remove whatever you wanted, including the slogan and the little guy. Because it's .svg, though, you can scale it up however big you wanted and make an aperture science shirt or mug or whatever.
 
Aperture shirts = win. I want a shirt with a small aperture logo on the left chest, and a big one on the back, underneath it 'Aperture Science'.
 
1024x768 and I don't care what colors as long as it looks cool. Thanks
 
anyone have a pic of the aperture science flyer on the wall in the room with tons of broken cameras...chamber 17 i believe.

that one is my favorite...

A few things:

1) You probably can't sell or market that. You're not the copyright holder on the design.

2) If you decide to go ahead anyway, the logo is clipped at the top there. You'll need to align it down somewhat. Should be easy if it's anything like printfection et al.

3) When rendering a logo to a shirt, larger is not always better. More often than not, the logo should be somewhat smaller than the actual "maximum" print size your vendor supports. Do less with more.
 
It's a reference to the first trailers, which consistently misspelled it as Labratories.
 
C'est vrai. Turns out it really was just a typo in the original trailer, but oh well. ;)

It's in .svg format, so anyone should be able to modify it to suit their needs. Plus, I wouldn't know how big you wanted it or for what, so you're probably better off just downloading inkscape (inkscape.org) and doing it yourself.
 
Has anyone mailed to see if this is ok? I would mind a nice subtle AS t-shirt myself but I don't want to scuff any lawyers with my size nines.
 
Hey AJW - nice work man. Thanks to you, I'm inspired to do a little project. I'll definitely credit you and refer people to you (if you want) when I'm done.

I'd like 2 more graphics, maybe you could do it. If you look at this picture, you'll see that the blue and orange portals are complete mirror images of each other.

I'd really like an svg (or whatever format you'd like to use) of the same style graphic, with the fake person in the portal and everything, of each portal (blue and orange). They must be mirrors of each other, so really all you have to do is make one, reverse it, and change the color. Anyways... is it possible to NOT have white as a color, but instead have transparency? Basically, I want to make a transparent sticker out of this so that if I were to put the sticker on a white background, it'd look like the picture I showed you. This means that the black should actually be the color black, but the white (such as the guy in the portal) should be transparent... is this possible?

I understand I'm asking for quite a lot... if it's too much work, I don't mind compensating you a bit for your time, or maybe returning a favor. I just don't have any artistic ability, lol!

Please let me know :)
 
there's no such thing as resolution being too high.
just scale it to fit your needs. at least this way if you need it big there's no loss of quality.
 
Here is a fun thing. Maybe valve did not think of this when they designed the logo. But the logo is actually the exact reverse of the logo from a danish bank called "jyske bank"

it's for anybody who might happen to want a high res version, i.e. somebody who wants to make a desktop wallpaper or a poster.

heh, wow. that's pretty interesting, but don't look into it too much. i'm sure it's of no real relevance.
the logo was most likely designed based on the name; an 'aperture' of a camera.

Yeah I know just quite fun. There is a "jyske bank" near where I live. And I did not notice this after I completed Portal, and the aperture logo.. I just knew I had seen it before

I really do hope that valve makes aperture science shirts with the logo on them and black mesa shirts as well.
 
i must be high or something but the aperture pieces look like cake slices.
