It's REALLY hard for me to decide, they're all awesome.

However...Portal was the most creative and fun. It almost was like playing HL1 for the best time, so fresh and engrossing.

Episode Two would be second, and while I still LOOOOVE it, TF2 would be last. Amazing but just not well designed and written as the two single player games.
 
TF2 first. Episode Two isn't quite as excellent, however with the rest of HL2 it's better. Portal is too overrated, I didn't nearly enjoy it as much as anything else in the Box, despite the fact Portal was the reason I got it.
 
portal was the best out of the 3. However, it doesn't offer nearly as much total fun that tf2 does with its endless replayability.
 
Episode 2 for me. I just found it to be so much more enjoyable than the other two games.
 
TF2 is my personal favorite but all three of them are phenomenal/mindblowingly good.
 
TF2, but only because I play it most often. It's harder to play a single player game quite as much.

That's not to say I don't find either of the other games a work of genius
 
You can't pick one favorite in the Orange Box. It's impossible so don't try.
 
Portal is to be praised for its innovative gameplay, but let's not forget the atmosphere and the feel, unique and fascinating as a thriller movie. A true artwork.

I would've picked Portal if Episode Two didn't have that final battle. But it did.
 
Portal is the single most rounded gaming product ever released. Not 'the Best Game EVAR', but a game that knew what it had to do, and did it practically flawlessly. All in all, I'd rather totter off and play it now than any of the other OB games, if my PC was working properly.
 
They are all excellent, but I'd say TF2 is the best.
 
Episode 2

I was glad the antlions were run through very early in the game
and the vehicle!
 
All are great, but TF2 has devoured my soul
 
All are excellent games and all were incredibly exciting to play through. But TF2 (being the multiplayer) is the game that lasts without getting boring or repetative. I enjoy all the games but TF2 is the outright best in the pack.
 
How much longer than ep1 was ep2? I could've sworn it was like twice as long.
 
Episode 2 was quite a bit longer, but the time goes by way faster

TF2 gets the crown for OMG SO MUCH REPLAYABILITY, and quite frankly I didn't wnat to play through Portal again or even do the challenge maps - mainly because I know all the GlaDOS quotes and to be honest a lot of Portal was kind of eerie. Episode 2 is wonderful but, man, I love my TF2.
 
Hey, in how many HL games did the final map get it's own chapter. I know ep2 did, with 'T-Minus One', and HL1 did, with 'Nilianth's Lair' or something. But did HL2 or ep1 have their own final map-chapter.

Exit 17 is two maps And the chapter title doesn't appear at the beginning of it all. Also, the G-Man map in Half-Life 1 has its own title (Endgame?), but it isn't shown onscreen.
 
Portal.

TF2 is a fun game but I get kind of bored of it after a while, Ep 2 is just a continuation of hl2, it still an awesome game, but the only game out of the whole orange box that actually brought something completely new was Portal.
 
I bought the Orange Box solely for TF2, but I ended up enjoying EP2 so much more.

TF2 ended up not really doing anything for me.

And Portal was okay, it was fun to play with the Portal gun the first few levels but after that I just bored and frustrated.
 
Well i could only choose between portal and ep2 cause i couldnt play tf2 online *sigh*

On-topic, depsite choosing TF2, I do take into account that all three are in my top 5 games.
 
I have bought Orange Box only because of Half-Life 2 Episode Two. Portal excellent game
 
Episode 2 with Portal REALLY REALLY REALLY CLOSE Behind. TF2 last simply because i like Valves SP games more.
 
Ep2, then Portal. I like TF2 its a very well made game, but im not a fan of multiplayer games.
