Looking for some suggestions and advice. Its been a while since iv built one. My old computer just died and im positive its the CPU. Anyway its about time i build something up to date.

So here is what im considering getting:

Case: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811119225
MB: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131821
CPU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819116501
RAM: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231428
PS: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139010

I already have a great GFX card that i think isnt the problem so im not gonna buy one. And i already have a ton of HD and other acc.

What are your goals?

If you are just gaming then that system is all the right brands and components. It is just that you will be just as future-proofed with much cheaper hardware. The MB is way more than the average high end gamer would need. There are other nice ASUS boards with the same chipset that will do exactly what you need it to just as well. The CPU is epic but it is unnecessary if you are just gaming.

The case is verry nice and cases are a totally subjective deal. In the high end price range I really like the Corsair cases

Its been little over a year and this case still gives me a boner.

I really wish I had the money to pick one of these up when they come out:

This sort of goes against what I said earlier but, well, I couldn't help myself. My friend has a phantom and the thing is a MONSTER.

Cheaper version, but out of stock currently, not discontinued though:

I've also seen one of these and it looked like it would survive a nuclear holocaust:

Good luck!

Gaming and stock market stuff mainly ya. Have any other MB suggestions? Also i was wondering if the CPU headseat it comes with will be ok? or can anyone recommend me something better. Iv heard it can get hot.

I think you mistakenly linked the MB twice btw and thanks again for the info.

Suddenly shows up after nearly a year. You're a terrorist.

lol, i still cant believe my post count..i use to ****ing live in these forums haha.

mine is like, ten times what it is, I make threads boasting at about 10k for a nice fresh restart

Anyway i just bought the parts i posted up before. Hoping everything turns gravy. I do however have another question, what would you say is the best way to diag all the parts in my old pc? See what works or whats broken? Keep in mind the computer turns on and just beeps. At least it was beeping now its just this annoying continuous sound..I know that 1 beep is like ram and 2 is gfx and a long beep is cpu. i think anyway...

Figure out your motherboard's model number and download the manual to see what error code you're getting, so you know for sure.
