Can't Log In!

I can't log in at steam at the moment
just wondering if Its my comp or something or du u guys have the same problen!?

The servers are not all down, some are still running, all we can do for now is waiting talking about the complex reproduction system of Antlions or the sexuality of combine soldiers in close quarters!!

very bizarre. My brother told me he couldnt login, mine had been working fine, he tried my account on his computer, it worked. I tried logging into his account on my computer, and same error message he got on his computer. So it cant be our network connections or computers. Perhaps some user account info got corrupted on the steam servers, while others were untouched... or maybe there are multiple verification servers, and some are down while others are up...

I read this post some were and it explains why some can login and others can't

0:1 and 0:0 are the authentication server your account uses to login.

The 0:0 server is up and functioning right now.
The 0:1 server is down currently.

The reason some people with 0:1 can still play right now is they were logged in before the downtime occured. If they log off and attempt to log back in, it won't work.

0:0 users can continue to log on or off to their choosing.

Just wait until the authentication server comes back up, until then there is nothing you can do.

I can't play now either. I was in a game, it crashed due ot a net error, and now I can't reach the steam servers to log back in.
