You need to be a registered Ubi member though, I signed up but I don't think I'll get in, oddly enough, I was atleast able to signup, I'm 16 and signed up with thus, usually on say FilePlanet etc they don't even allow you to signup if you're 16 but this time I got to.

I'm hoping that I'll magically get into the beta because I'm really excited for this but I doubt it.

I wish they could read minds for these tests so TRUSTWORTHY 16 year olds could get in.

I mean, I think one of the major reason they don't usually accept 16 year olds is partly due to the fact that they doubt they'll take the NDA seriously, and two that they're afraid they'll just view the beta as a demo and won't take the time to send in bugreports etc.

If I don't get in I'll hope for a open-beta in a few months or so.

It's due out in September afterall.

Gargantou: It's due to legal reasons.

First, you can't sign a legal document unless you are 18 or with parental consent.

Second, if they allowed minors into the test, if you did leak the build, they couldn't do anything to you besides simply cut your access off... But, since everyone in the test is 18, then they can take legal action against you.

I was a beta tester once. It sucked. It wasnt fun at all because the bugs were terrible, and then since I knew all about the game I didnt even bother playing it when it was released. I would much rather play a stable and polished release first. Although it is cool to be able to help developers and say "I helped in the development of that game".
