Did anyone else have to cheat? (NoClip, spoilers obviously)

There I was, last chapter following Breen up as he tried to teleport...well it turns out I ran into a bug. The platform used to take you up had entities stuck at both stop positions which prevented me from reaching the catwalk. I just circumvented the situation by using Noclip...really no harm done, just used an alternate route. Anyone else experience anything like this?

On another note..Gamespot is full of it....I loved the story, the end gave me chills.

similar bug was hitting me even when I wasn't cheating at the start (got bored repeating it every damn time so noclipped after that) which didn't set off the portal correctly, sometimes not atall, sometimes part, and finally worked. Just seemed to be more random than anything else. Annoying though thinking I was doing something wrong when I wasn't.

I had to use noclip a few times, got stuck on physic objects.

Also used god when fighting the striders - way too difficult.

The big crane bugged when I had to lift ud my buggy. The blue container kept sticking to the magnet, even though I "told" it to drop it. I couldn't jump the broken bridge without the buddy, so I had to replay that bit.

I was n00bed.

I demand you go back and fight them properly. The Strider bits are some of the best combat situations in the game. Even with 34 health it's great. Nipping in and out of cover desperately searching for one more rocket. Then the exhilaration of finding one and cramming it up it's ass and watching it fall. Great.

There's a box of infinite rockets everytime you see a strider, if you can't beat them without cheating, you suck at video games. I bet you cheat in counter-strike too.

i didnt figure out how to cheat, but i got stuck where you first get the buggy and it flips upside down, i jump out and back up towards some wood in the sand, and got stuck between the antlion corpses and wood.

but on highway 17,, i used no clip, cause reallly i couldnt be F..ucking bothered to to walk back 2 my buggy
