Good for you, now shut up about it and don't post in every steam related topic about your hate for steam.

People need help sometimes and it dosent help matters when you come in with "steam sux!"

Steam isnt going away, so if you want to make a topic bitching about it please feel free, but don't crap up every other thread about steam with your opinion.
 
I don't see anything paticulary angry about that post.
 
I like Steam, but it has its downfalls.

Such as, I just started my Steam client up and there ain't no ****ing games in "My Games" list.

I accept Steam, but I don't in any way like it per say.

Toooooooooo much of a hassle to do anything.
 
I don't paticuallary care if you have some problem with steam, I just would rather not have to go into every topic about steam and have the usual suspects with their "steam sucks" posts.

In most parts of forum land thats called trolling.

Ever since the original release of steam its been a great idea - Its not always been that user friendly, always worked fine for me though. (my idea of fine is nothing goes wrong that can't be fixed)
 
Steam is ace. Be nice. Problem free for me. SiN sounds very exciting!

I love it, I can get my updates with 0% hassle, actually has a nice favorites list compared to won, easy to use server browser, and buy things off of it, and I know my money is going to the developer instead of just a little of it going to the developer.

The first few months were rough, but most things then got cleared up.
 
Steam is fine for me. Although I wonder. What happens when I want to play Half Life 2 again it 10 years? And Steam is no longer up and running. How do I activate the files??? But other than that, I like it. People complained about how it was down on the day it came out, but I had 0 problems. And Steam is working fine for me. *knocks on wood*
 
this post is equally as useless as the ones that have people complaining about steam. Now what?
 
The only thing worse that people making stupid I hate steem threads is people making I hate people that make I hate steem threads. It just leads to flaming. It also leads to I hate people that make threads about people that make threads about I hate steem posts in the I hate people that make I hate steem thread.

I dont like the thing when my internet was down 1 week i could not play it just wanted to update blablabla otherwise its working fine.
 
Everyone knows I hate Steam, but I know better than to start topics like this.

I started a similar style of topic on IMDb once, which resulted in all my posts being deleted.

Maybe the moderators should do the same to this topic?

Its not the process of hating Steam he is bothered by, its the abundance of "I HATE STEAM!" threads that is bothering him. He would be doing the same thing if there were too many "I HATE PEOPLE THAT HATE STEAM AND MAKE THREADS ABOUT IT!" threads, but since those seem to be less common, he is not even close to doing the same thing...

I like Steam, I like getting the latest updates on my PC whenever I like to play. Imagine having to manually download every fix ever made for the source engine or HL2/HL2DM/CSS. Those that dont like it, are those that are having problems getting it setup. Offline mode works for me too. Oftentimes when my crap-tacular wireless connection goes out, Steam automatically goes offline and I can still play HL2. In fact, thats exactly what I did last time the connection died and I didnt have the chance to reset it.
 
Steam is good thing for Valve. What is good for Valve, is good for me :)

QFT. I happen to dislike Steam, but I don't start threads about how much I hate seeing people praise Steam, just because they happen to like it and I don't. Just because it irritates you, doesn't mean it's trolling.
 
STEAM RUINED MY COMPUTER! The same day i downloaded all this stuff someone sent me and teh same day I overclocked my system insanely high was the same day I installed STEAM. I H4TE you steam, you ruined my computeR11111!!!!111one!`1eleventyoneone
 
I am going to make a program called mist that everyone will have to subscribe to in order to play my games. You will also have to verify online and never be able to buy a package that has a game that you already have in it.
 
I hate Steam! It ate my cat! :O

but seriously... I wasn't too sure about Steam when it came out. I was too used to WON, but it grew on me. I've had no problems at all with it
