I know a few in this generation that could take their place. D:Can't wait 'till his and JT's generation dies off.
Funny, I used to really respect the fellow.
I'll let him know.Dr. Phil can wipe my ass.

You take that and mix it with a psychopath, a sociopath or someone suffering from mental illness and add in a dose of rage, the suggestibility is too high.
QFT. I'm sorry, you don't have your face and image plastered all over TV and other media if you want to help people. You do it to make money. It's sad people can't seem to grasp this and think what's on TV is gospel.lol
Dr phil was always, and always will be a male oprah. AKA a complete joke and a mockery of all human-kind.
He wants to help people. But he also wants to have a huge ego because of it.QFT. I'm sorry, you don't have your face and image plastered all over TV and other media if you want to help people. You do it to make money. It's sad people can't seem to grasp this and think what's on TV is gospel.

EDIT: So, I guess he just wants to be in a position of power, or some such, not actually help people... I don't know what I'm saying, cut me a break. I'm tired!
Can't say I hate him either. But I'm also not an insecure stay-at-home soccer mom that thinks the world (and family) are against me. So no, it's not about "not being cool" it's just that "I'm not buying it."I credit Dr. Phil with making a talk show that is about resolving domestic conflict rather than encouraging it. Also, from what I have seen of his show he is very mild in manner and in opinions. It isn't cool to like Dr. Phil but I don't necessarily hate him.
Typical.
We have the same games here in NZ as the rest of the world. Guess how many "confused" kids went on a killing rampage in the entire country here last year. Zero. Year before that? Zero. See a trend? Do I need to keep going? How many people in NZ have even died from a gunshot wound - including police shootings etc? Around 4 last year. Year before? About 2. etc etc etc. Would Dr Phil care to explain why WE don't go psycho after playing violent games? Are we just better people? Smarter? Must be something, if video games really ARE to blame, it must just mean that he's saying Americans are weak minded or something, because kids in other countries aren't driven to insane rampaging after playing GTA etc?...
Seems to me Americans and their attitudes, lifestyles, and ridiculous gun laws (right to bear arms - NOT the smartest piece of law to have - for gods sake it means kids can take guns to school etc) have more to do with the state of that country than some kids playing video games.
Congratulations on so completely missing my point. Let me dumb it down for you even more:Anyone can get a gun thats true, but not everyone is going to go on a gun rampage and kill a bunch of people, just because theirs a bad apple do we outlaw guns? If someone wants to kill people its not a very hard task to accomplish, hell u dont even need a gun.

Compare killing 32 people with a gun to trying to do that same feat with say a large blade.
Which seems easier? Which seems easier to stop?
The reason you get so many nuts killing people is because with a gun it's so easy to do and guns are so easy to get. Come to Australia, get a gun license, have your gun locked down when not in use, etc. It's a lot harder to achieve. Guns should not be allowed in an educational environment it's that simple. Yeah sure you'll still get a few nuts but not so many as before.
That aside I've been held up at gunpoint and by idiots with stupidly large blades, it's what happens when you work at a servo in a bad neighborhood. Alteast they don't go around killing people.
That sure worked out well for them, didn't it. I feel safer already.I'm not 100% sure what you were implying by this, but the Virginia Tech campus (most do, I'm sure) has a no weapon policy.
Yeah, it's gotta be computer games.
I mean, not readily available guns or anything?
Good point. Yea, it's that crazy rock music that influenced him. (as they used to blame violence on rock and roll, then it went to movies, then rap music, now it's games, whats next? The internet.) :upstare:
