Where is your personal favorite place(s) to get a burger?
This applies to any kind of burger, as you probably guessed.

Personally, I like burgers from a place (that you all have probably never heard of) called Five Guys. It's like semi-fast food, but they make really good food for low prices.
inb4 "Five Guys sounds like some sort of sick gay porno"

If you don't like burgers, thats perfectly fine, you don't have to vote or even reply unless you want to. But otherwise, (hoping a decent amount of hl2.net members like burgers) let's vote!

You can always just reply about what you like too, and discuss why.

I'm making the poll right now, It might take a while to appear.

EDIT: I forgot some stuff on that poll, but you can just check "Other" lol.

There's this place nearby that makes some awesome burgers, called Island Burger.

They have a nice burger called a Fire Island Burger.

A nice place neat here, called Wings Etc, some of their burgers weigh a bloody pound. You have to unhinge your jaw to take a bite
Also Fuddruckers.

Low prices? I once went to Five Guys with 2 friends we each got a burger, fries, and a drink and it cost $47 ****ing dollars. Unbelievable.

fuddruckers. i like being able to put my shit on it, yanno?

The first time I ate there, I got sick afterwards. :(

I'm a fan of Hardees*or Carls Junior*, Babe's, Wendy's, or Sonic.

I rarely get hamburgers if I am out at a fancy place. I save burgers for the Fast food joints.

They're excellent. West coast only, though.

My god damn bbq.

With ground beef off cows I just killed. (no I'm serious, I live on a farm.)

Yes... ****ing YES.

I would have mentioned In-N-Out... But only a couple times in the past 10 years of my life have I been able to have any.

It is truly the best burger place. But I wish it would come to Texas.

I've always been partial to Burger King flame broiled burgers though. We used to patronize a burger king on the air force base up there frequently. They had an awesome play area too. Outside, all wooden and shit. I don't think it was from Burger King. It was just situated next to it.

Five Guys is a national chain, there are many around here.

I still haven't found a place that makes a better burger than I do or my dad does at home, but my second favorite is probably Cookout. If I'm looking for an ultra-cheap meal, the Wendys $1 bacon cheeseburger (or about 3 of them actually) does me in a fix.

a chocolate and strawberry shake at in-n-out = delectable for days.

I make my own veggie burgers. I usually make 2 for dinner, unless I make spaghetti or tacos or something.

Today I made something like Jr. Woppers. I used cheese, fresh lettuce, fresh sliced tomatoes and onions, mayonnaise, ketchup, and a toasted crown. Total cost, about .80 each. Tastes like a $5 burger.

Served with a Coke.

I had a McDonalds last night :/ first time in years. OK.

The majority of the poll choices are American chains.

Just shows how unhealthy you all are

About a week ago I ate a burger at a posh restaurant - ****ING AMAZING. It had proper bread and other ingredients, unlike most fast food outlets etc.

EDIT: 4-Star/5-Star "Fancy" Restruant. As a FAVOURITE - Best quality, regardless of price.

I would say that I enjoy Hardee's (Carl's Jr.). Tis the only decent place around here.

I've never eaten at a non-american restruant...YET.

Although I would like to see what they taste like in other places :p

@VirusType2 LOL, I didn't notice that.

Oh yeah I forgot they serve Hot dogs. But we aren't talking about hot dogs in this thread, are we?

mcdonalds, as fail as that is my god does the double big mac taste good

Everyone has so many burger places but here....

We don't have an In N Out, a Carls Jr., Fuddruckers, or even a Sonic.

You know who has really awesome burgers?

Hardees, Johnny Rocket's, and a local place called Famous Uncle Al's.
If you're looking for a delicious, old-school burger, definitely try these places.

In n' out, red onion, nations, etc.

oh jesus now I want a burger.

Burger King. Of most fast food joints, theirs is the most traditional and the heartiest.

McDonald's burgers suck, and I've never heard of the other places listed.

I used to like Wendy's too, but since they switched over to those deli style buns, they've lost points from me.
I don't like burgers that try too hard to be special. I like traditional burgers with sesame buns, lettuce, tomatoes, and onions.

My god damn bbq.

I cant agree more... I dont live on a farm unfortunately, but i have good friends who do. and who raise cattle. we would buy half a cow every year or two.... :( but they just sold all of their livestock, as we are running out of beef... it breaks my heart.
but in all honesty, free range, locally raised beef... basically the way it was done 100s of years ago, thats the best beef there ever was. its so delicious, and juicy and such good quality...

oh, and theres this place, i think it only is in my city, but i could be wrong. its called the works... gourmet burgers... there are like 40 or 50 different combinations of burger on the menu... and 7 or 8 types of patties.

To any forumite who is ever in Cork. Eat a Lennox's (the real one that's near UCC, not the fake one out by the Cork School of Music). It is the absolute best ****ing burger I have ever had. The chips are fantastic too. Eating there is almost as good as sex. I've not had the fish but I've been told that's incredible too.

For anyone who travels on the N25 I also recommend JJ's by the bridge just outside of Youghal. Although I've heard others disagree, I think he does a damn good 1/4 pounder. Be warned though, he does tend to burn the buns a tad in my experience.

Bennigan's. Absolutely delicious BBQ Bacon cheeseburgers.

If fast food, then Wendy's.
