Gunman Cronicles: Source Product?

It just struck me. Considering that Gunman Cronicles did use the original Half-Life Engine, and it does share the same publishers as Half-Life, do you think that this game will be upgraded with Source.

If not, I really hope that if there is a sequal, then it should use the Source Engine. What do you think about this idea?

no it was made by someone else, I forget the name I remember the logo but I cant remember who..

the game was great, and It would be nice to see a sequel/port... but it was just a mod that went for retail really (well a TC) it was originally going to be free.

If I recall, I think the developer was called Re-Wolf

lol gunman was great, it had a drivable tank alot like the halo tank, it made the drivable CS APC look absaloutly toss, also had some impressive map stuff, and clever weapons.

Yeah Gunman was awesome, I loved the whole weapon tweak/customization, and the AI chick and story were terrific.

I definately would recommend people at least give it a try.

I have it around here somewhere, I think I might just install and play through it again.

I've seen the box several times but never looked at it. How did it compare to HL?

Slow beginning (Like Half-Life), but its like a constant shootout (Like with the marines in Half-Life) throughout the Game. The box says theres "Over 40 hours of Gameplay". Believe me, you or anyone on this forum could complete it in 6 Hours (Basically False advertising).

Asteroid Space Station= Training
Jungle Planet
Asteroid Research Station
Crand Canyon Like planet

I liked that chemical pistol that had 3 slider-bar settings for Acid Pressure and Base, and u could change the effect of the projectile.

I don't think they'll update it with source, since it's the only addon that didn't follow the Half-Life story.

Might be cool to see it in source, though i'd say its highly unlikely that valve would do the 'port'.

The game had some cool ideas (weapons was mentioned - and the tank) - though i thought the story was rubbish....

Gunman was OK, but it's not really worth putting time into upgrading. Instead, they should make a sequel--but do it right this time.

The Tank was excellent. But it didn't really need them machine guns at the front (just use the main cannon)
