Dunno if this is the right place to post it, but oh well.
I tried it out today.
I think certain stuff has slightly improved, such as shiny surfaces, a few nicer textures and effects, and updated guns.
I didn't notice the ragdolls that much though, i smacked a zombie fifteen times in an attempt to smack him off the platform (1m away), and I failed miserably.
I guess I'll just have to wait for the shotgun to see em flying, eh ?
But seriously, this could've been soooooo much better.
1) They could've updated the graphics (or at least high-def textures), but I don't mind the graphics that much
2) It says the game uses the well-known source physics.
So far stuff as small as a carton of milk stay glued to the floor when I move against/over it, barrels don't fall over when I hit them with the crowbar, etc.
So far, the only thing "Source" I noticed was the slight graphical updates and shiny surfaces and water.
I haven't noticed any Source physics yet, anyone feeling the same ?
I was in a nostalgic mood today, and since I had never played HL Source before, I thought I'd start a new game.
After playing through a few chapters, I died, and to my utter surprise, instead of being taken back to the previous loading point, I was thrown back ALL THE WAY TO THE BEGINNING OF THE GAME.
Nice, I probably won't be playing this anymore for a few days, I feel pretty frustrated now >:[
