I've noticed a bad trend in these forums. People get so pissy whenever some fool makes a post that have been already discussed. Sure, it's nice enough to tell the person that they have made a simple mistake, but there's no need to be a bitch about it. I mean seriously, lets cut these people some freaking slack. We don't need elitist whores jumping on every mistake or discussed thread made on these forums just to satisfy their need to feed their superiority complex.

Sure, people are dumb, but dumb people have rights, too.

People get pissy, thats about it. People do tend to overreact to rookie mistakes though, but sometimes, people jump the gun too fast before they think. It can get annoying though. I think the best solution is to politely point out the thread where it is being discussed and invite them to share there views there, not to flame them for being a "n00b"

Mattigus, i agree with you... ppl here (no names or status) get really bitchy when a single mistake is made. They forget that some are not as "experienced" as they are and are really quick to be mean or try to be clever and witty.

rest assured that you and I are not the only 2 ppl who think this.

you also have to realize that ppl are frustrated because they come in here every day and there is nothing new to talk about and zero news about HL2's ultra-delayed release.... so dont be so hard on them

I see what you're saying... but I doubt that people are doing it because of "their superiority complex.". I think it's more people who are frustrated with the lack of other stuff to discuss.


although I think, at least on our forums, with the activity that we have, that unless the news was posted within the last 20 minutes, you should as LEAST scroll down the forum..
