People in Texas are complaining about a few centimeters of snow, here in Ontario we've got about a meter..

My walkway was shoveled about 2 hours ago, it's now up to my knee. All the snow that wasn't touched yet is up to my stomach/lower chest.. This is a retarded amount of snow.. I don't remember the last time we've had this much.. Shitty thing is - we can't get a snow day or anything, it's march break... shit.

Tomorrow I'll have to shovel my driveway.. dammit.

In your face, Texas.

I love shoveling snow from driveways. Used to do it all the time in Alaska... and we had a gravel driveway!

If I was there... I'd shovel your driveway for you for free. :D

You can all freeze. We haven't gotten any accumulation at all this year.

Lucky for you mine is gravel, too. About as long as half a football field..

Not only that, I live on a highway type of road, and the snowplow place is near my house, so my road got plowed like 30 times so far.. Even better - the snow they push at the end of my driveway, while VERY high, it mostly ice! yay!

I know how that goes. Our streets would get plowed off to the side, and it was our responsibility to shovel it up. And when those plows pile the snow up, it gets compacted and much of it is crystalized and chunky, not powdery. It's tough, but I'd give anything to shovel your driveway right now. Yes, every inch of it.

I miss thick snow that much.

All I'd ask in return is a nice cup of creamy cocoa with marshmallows when I'm done. And ideally, a warm fireplace to sit in front of.

I've got instant hot chocolate and a space heater. Get down here, now!

I hate it when they do that. Most of the time I'll be the only house on the ENTIRE STREET with a snowplow pushing snow all infront of my driveway.

i don't remember a winter being this ****ed up. Why the hell has their been like 20 snow storms this winter with wild temperature changes?!

I really hope next winter is nowhere near the same as this winter, because I can't stand it. My back is taking a beating with all the shovelling i've done in the past week and my bastard neighbours (who have snow blowers) won't even snow blow my drive way when i'm 1 house away from them. Yea i know they're not obligated to do anything, but come on, what takes them 30 minutes to clean takes me about 2-4 hours with a shovel accompanied by back pain.

i say FUCK OFF WINTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have a snowblower, but at the start of the winter a belt on it broke... Can't order a new belt until next month..

this has nothing to do with snow but i dont want to create a separate thread for this.

but holy crap you know the mini wheats commercial with that mini wheat singing all the time? well his voice is the same voice from the lead character in animaniacs!!!!

wtf.. It's not even close..

You're crazy.

My car made it through 19/20 of the snow storms! :'( I'm pissed!

The main thing that pisses me off is the 70 degrees one day, then 23 the next. Missouri is so ****ed up.

Since Missouri is in middle america, it's susceptible to great weather and temperature extremes because there's no body of water around it to moderate the weather/temperature. It's like that in Alberta/Manitoba/Winnipeg too.

Same here. I like to laugh at all the people from Florida who don't know how to drive on snow.

There's tons of small bodies of water; it's just that it's in the right path for whether to come from the north or south.

With some luck we won't be getting any more snow (even though we barely got any this year). As it's March now, we really shouldn't get any more. I just want it to warm up a lot so I can wear my short-sleeved T-shirts (it's been so cold here I'e been having to wear my long sleeved shirts under my band T-shirts). Ok, going a bit off topic now!!! :D

I just got in from shoveling another driveway. I had to shovel four over the last two days. I'm gonna take pics later.

Yea, it's actually pretty sunny and warm out right now, ever since the storm stopped it's gotten alot better.

I also like that a random guy with a plow came to our house (he was driving by). He seen my brother shoveling and decided to just be a nice guy and plow it for us. So now we got a nice and snow-free driveway, with no manual work required! yay!
