alright i know im gonna get all these smart ass remarks for askin this question but w/e how the hell do u restart steam and get the updates to download? do u just push exit on the icon tray and then double click the steam icon or what?

Well if you had no clue about restarting steam you coulda just restarted your computer. You should have surely known that would make it restart. and if you cant even figure that out you might as well stay away from computers

Hi, if u type “ctrl, alt ,del” and end the steam process. Wait for it 2 prompt u that process has been terminated. if not do again. Then select steam or HL2 from desktop. usually this caused my computer 2 hang for twenty minutes. If this happens end the process again. If not go to bottom left “start” then select valve, either steam or “HL2” again, this works best for my computer. Remember selecting HL2 will try and launch game after downloads are complete.
