Once I stayed awake for 2 days as an experiment. By the half of the second day I literally felt like my head was about to explode and generally weak. My body was screaming *Go to bed dumbass!*. Never doing that again...

I actually did that too and I wasn't THAT tired, went to sleep in the afternoon tho..

All nighters are... interesting, to say the least.

When I pulled one off on New Year's Eve while playing a P&P RPG... for no particular reason, we started laughing like clinically insane people at around seven in the morning, some 24 hours into the stint.

Around 7 - 10. However my iron levels are atrocious so anything under 8 and I'm stuffed for the day.

She's IRON WOMAN!

Oh wait... You mean you have iron deficiencies...

Eat more cereal. Great amounts of iron in it.

When I went to school:

6 hours/night on weekdays and 10 hours/night on weekends

Now that I'm not doing anything:

9 hours/night every day.

Yeah, its not all that hard to build the levels back up, but I'm always losing them when....:o

Well, yeah they keep disappearing.

:o :x

That's gross...

STOP LOSING THEM!

Get your irons back! Install a reverse electromagnet opposite the design Iron Man had!

If anybody asks, you can claim it's a chastity belt!

I do wonder how you came to that conclusion so quickly. If I was a guy I would have no idea wtf I was talking about :|

12:30 in the morning, and I need to start working on a paper due tomorrow.

I think i'll be lucky to get 2 hours of sleep and a slap in the face from mi madre tonight...

Insomnia at the moment... argh! I get like a good nights sleep every 2-5 nights at the moment.
But usually itd be like 6 hours if I was in my normal sleeping pattern for uni/work

Not sure how much I slept last night tho, I was up by 10:30am and when I finally fell asleep it was starting to get light. : s

The figures varies, but one common universal variable applies, the closer I am to exams the less sleep I get.

Average: 8
Exam: =< 3

There was this time where I stood awake for 41 hours straight, and when I finnaly got home I wasn't really sleepy, but felt pretty much dead inside

All depends on the day of the week really. Most days 7-8, sundays probably nearer 12.

Well, there is ONE way to keep you from having your period.

You just have to carry around a parasite that looks like me within you for nine months. Careful, I hear the squirming is uncomfortable.

do you follow me with a notebook in hand for when I reveal little mysteries about myself?

I once killed a man with a spork just for looking at me funny ...you're not looking at me funny are you ........ ?

Dammit.

So I'm going to bed much earlier now, which is good and everything, but I keep waking up spontaneously at like 6am, and then I can't doze back off. Normally I have absolutely no problem with sleeping in... not like it's a problem or anything, but it's kinda creepin me out. And now I'm always deathly tired between 8-10pm even if I've been doing nothing all day...

Just a week ago I was pulling all-niters like it was nothing. In fact, I couldn't get to sleep unless I was really tired, which sometimes didn't happen until way early in the morning. I was starting to think I had some sort of mild insomnia... now nothing. Weeeeird.

Haha thats weird as hell because im the same way now too. I remember how I posted about how i was the same way before, sleeping rediculous hours, but now im tired at like 8-9 o'clock and end up going to bed by 10 or 11 pm, then waking up around 7 am. What the hell happened to us. I havent gotten up at 7 am once in like 7 months, and now I cant help it.

I figure it's either my body compensating for all the sleep deprivation I usually put myself through, or all the energy drinks I've been consuming putting me out of whack. A friend suggested it was diabetes when I mentioned it to him, which freaked me out for a minute until I realised I'm not fat or over fourty.

Edit - (No offense to anyone with diabetes, that was meant to be a joke... and a really poor one at that).

que, I thought if we were ever gonna have kids, it would be the other way around.

Think, this guy: http://news.xinhuanet.com/english/2008-03/31/xinsrc_40203052813370463170435.jpg

I hate that guy. He's like, "oh, I'm a woman, but, I don't feel right, so I'm gonna be a man. Oh, yeah, and I still want to have babies."

I hear she took testosterone and is turned her clit into a clitdick, and she bangs her wife with it. Stupid confused lesbian, just buy a strapon?

So, anyways, yes, skaadi, I will have a C-section for you. Unless you want me to put my urethra to good use. We're gonna have the cutest babies in existance, except for maybe stern's.

My vote is not suprising, considering your mum, dad, and future lineage.

Lineage is such a great word.

Who agrees?

I actually kind of lied in the poll. I stated 7-8 hours but during the week I usually don't even get 7. At the weekend, however, i could get up to 10 or even 11 hours sleep. last night I got 12 hours because i went to bed very early (I had a migraine).

2 hours tonight, maybe 3 if I go to school late

Was worth it though :)

Last month I was just getting 4-5 hours on most days. Don't do that btw.
The next month I had more time to sleep but since I had got up so early the previous month for work I had a pattern. So I would still wake up at 5 or 6 AM and could not fall back to sleep for not more than an hour at a time beyond that until I finally got up at 10 AM. So I really only got 5 solid hours of sleep still. And those 1 hour spurts doesn't seem to do anything but make me more tired.

Just go to bed early. Remember...I'm 'old'.
