I got a dog need some tips!

well my Greatgrandfather passed away 2 weeks ago :(
but we got his dog,her Name is Rags she's a pudel.
She can jump pretty high and she likes byting my feet.
Ok heres my problem she sleeps in my bed which I dont mind but she wont fall
asleep til she is exsausted from playing,and she will only fall asleep If I make
her a tiny bed with a blanket sometimes she gets up and starts licking my face
which is really annyoing at times but at least she doesnt bark.I think shes only a few months old so Im sure will behave better soon and she only peed in the house twice sofar which is good I guess.



any tipps from long time dog owners? share your thoughts and stories

It's always good when a dog pees in your house.
 
Use the iron hand covered with cotton. Don't be rude with it, but don't pet it after it has done something bad.
 
Be nice to it and teach it. Teach it things like GTFO of your house and learn to live outside...permanently.
 
I hate Poodles, those things are spoiled like hell, you should get a rotweiler and have it eat that little shit.
 
Ok heres some tips (I used to have a palmeranian,Prince ;( ):

Put a basket by your bed and put dog-biscuits in it. The dog will get confused "which bed"? It thinks. If this does not work put some blankets on a corner of the bed and put a dog-biscut or a chewtoy on it. Therefore it is on your bed but it tends to not keep licking you. If all else fails,rough it up. Give it nuggeys make it a dirty dirty dog! Badness! Therefore it does not think it is not accepted all the way. Therefore not doing everything you want but yeh! Does the dog jump on your legs when you come home? If it does run away from it run around the house. The dog will start yelping almost. It will kinda be like a cat after catnip :bounce:. Finnaly stop and love it. And then ra- nevermind.

Thats all I got up my shit covered sleeve.
 
My friend just got a labrador puppy, he's a bit bitey but is gradually getting the idea that I don't like my £64 ($100) shoes being chewed
 
Don't dry her in the microwave after you washed her!!!

I know some of you are joking but you should never hit a dog ..it learns nothing except to fear you ..which can have unforetunate consequences should you ever have children
 
Poodles are really, really bad dogs. Your gonna have a hell of a time trying to train it.... I suggest you buy a cage. :P

poodles are highly intelligent, extremely energetic and can be vicious. The larger breed of poodle can weigh 100 pounds ..just be prepared to give it a lot of excercise as they are very energetic
 
having a poodle will only add to your manliness. just carry bacon around in your pockets 24/7.
 
I don't like poodles (sorry, I know it's not the issue here). Sounds like you have a toy/miniature poodle, just be glad you don't have a standard poodle. They scare me :(
 
MY dog is gone.
The people at the university took her away to test a new synthetic blood theyve been making.


She would have died if she hadn't got treatment for her kidney diease that she had for 6 months. :( ;(
 
Oooo~ You got a dog! IMO, dog always goes good with BBQ sauce. A1 is a decent substitute as well.

Make sure it knows you're the boss. Be consistent. If you're teaching it a trick only say it once, before the dog does it, i.e: "Sit. Sit, Fido. Sit, boy, c'm'on, sit! sit. goodboy"=bad. Potty train early. Get a collar! My dog has gotten out a few times and thank goodness the people who found him called. Plenty of excercise is important. Dont feed him too much. If its something like a lab, he'll eat as much as he can. Play with it regularly.
