I must be thick, can anyone help me out in the water hazzard [poss spoiler]

After getting the airboat gun upgrade I have arrived in an area where to armoured cars on the dockside are blowing me to pieces and there are a couple of beached ships here. It is just after the bit where you go up a ramp against the rolling barrels and then do a hard left 180 to go down the other side.

I can't seem to see a way out, I have even got behind the pillars and tried to jump the airboat into the tunnel opposite using the ramp but I just bounce off.

can anyone help me here as I just can't see another way :rolling: .

This one stumped me for a while There should be a large shipping crate (large enough for you to fit an airboat through ^_^) to the err... "south" of that expanse of water. Get out of the boat and walk around the back of crate. Shoot the barrels and make sure your way is clear to drive through the crate.

Ah, thanks for that, obviously it won't let you make the jump unless you have opened the doors on the container. I thought I was going mad.
