The elderscrolls homepage has an interview with IGN posted in their news section. Although many questions have been repeated from previous interviews, some answers are more refreshing.

IGN: What kind of options will you have in terms of maintaining strongholds? How will this differ from Morrowind?

Gavin Carter: The player can buy a house in every city in Oblivion. Most can simply be bought outright for a large sum of gold, but a couple have quests associated with them. The main difference from Morrowind is that we've added more customization. There's a character who can sell you home furnishings and accoutrements like paintings and other decorations. You buy what you want from him, and it shows up in your house.

Uh, I think I'll change the thread title, as I ran into here with glee to be met with thorough dissapointment.

[edit]I don't remember what I put for thread title, I didn't accidently put 'Oblivion Review' or something?

I do know what you mean. Interviews for Oblivion have got to saturation point, where question seem to be closely related to ones asked in previous one. Its a shame that nobody can come up with a totally radical question.

Still I am anticipating a new SupCom Preview/Interview

Yeah, you put review. No matter, though.

You're absolutely right about the interviews - the journalism world seems to pretty much run on the same mindset, asking the same questions that appeal to the most people so that they can achieve the greatest user views. Still, at least it leaves things to explore when the game does arrive (and with 200+ gameplay hours, I'm expecting a lot).

I'll be filling my house with all kinds of crap. From spectacular art to silver spoons

I can't wait to see what the haunted house is like. I hope it has a distinctly more gothic horror feel than the other potential abodes even after it is "cleansed." Loads of excitement for this title!

I'll be filling my house with corpses, beat that.:)

Hahaha! See how many NPCs you can slay and then keep as personal slaves (like Dahmer attempted) or just have as decorative pieces! If they actually have the 1500 NPCs like they said, then you too could have your very own House of 1000 Corpses just like Rob Zombie!

If I wanted to fill a house with furnishings I'd buy The Sims, but when I buy a CRPG I expect a CRPG. I'm glad house furnishings are impressive to some though
