Everyone has to be nice to me now, because as the heading says I've just had an operation and am feeling pretty lousy. I can barely talk (the operation was in my mouth), I can't eat much and am in a fair amount of pain. So what i ask of you is no flaming me, no getting into arguments with me, just be nice and sympathetic. OK? thankyou. :imu:

I hope you've learned your lesson now, guzzling all that jizz is very bad for your throat.

WE LOVE YOU <3 <3 <3

GET WELL SOON :D

Ahem..... :p

so..what did they do to you exactly?

I had two teeth that were stuck in my top gum so the operation was to expose the teeth to let them grow downwards. Needless to say the pain I felt when I came round was excruciating. My first thoughts were:" Holy f***ing shit, the pain!!!" My mouth and my nose were numb and I felt like I couldn't breathe through my nose. And at the moment my throat could not be any more sore. Even when you have a cold you don't get a sore throat as bad as this. No painkillers work to get rid of it so i think it's just going to be a case of put up with it until it goes.
The only (I suppose) good thing about my op is that my mum is spoiling me and getting me a treat everyday to cheer me up!

Weaklings these days! I once had my arm ripped off while wrestling with a bear. It took me 10 days of walking in sub zero temperatures to reach civilization!

..... I got better.

Of course that happened, Sedako, who wouldn't believe that?
BTW, I just want to say THANK YOU to everyone who has posted so far. I knew you all cared a lot about me :p!!! But by all means keep posting :cheese:!!!

I once got turned into a newt.

I got better.

You get no sympathy from me. I had a bimaxillary osteotomy, so you know nothing about pain.

If that was because of an actual problem, and just to make yourself look prettier, then you fail.

If I were capable of this human emotion you call "Compassion", I am sure I would be feeling it.

My family genetics means I had an underhanging jaw, which causes jaw ache and tooth grinding, so it was to fix that.

I hope you have a speedy recovery. It will have been worth the pain in the end.

Get well soon.

The first time I visit this forum in ages, and I happen to be eating while reading this thread.

i once ate huge amount of cheese and was so constipated that i had to have anal surgery to get it out

F*ck y'all, I broke a damn nail. LOVE MEEEEEEEEEEE. :flame:

Seriously though, get well soon.

I had the exact same operation, it felt like the roof of my mouth was on fire for a week. Needless to say it ****ing sucked.

I'm getting all four of my wisdom teeth out tomorrow.

Hooray.

My friend got that operation last summer, it sucked because the medicine made him sleep for like 4 days.

Tell me about it, mate!!!

I'm getting all four of my wisdom teeth out tomorrow.

Hooray.

Good luck. You can share my pain afterwards. And my thread!!! Lol!;) We can support each other through our pain and feel-like-shit times! :P

i was supposed to get 4 teeth taken out on the 18th but i cancelled that appointment cuz i have several assignments due that week and i heard the pain is extreme and you're swollen for like 3 days..so im not risking it

Some people do get swollen. In fact, most do. i was lucky and didn't swell at all, but I'm probably one of the few who haven't. It's just a matter of luck. But you're probably right in waiting; the pain would definitely get in the way of anything else you had to do (especially the sore throat you'd probably get!).

im getting gassed and put to sleep..will that make the after effects any better or worse? lol

My dentist keeps telling me that i need to get my wisdom teeth removed. I keep telling her to stfu.

When do wisdom teeth usually grow all the way in?

Get well soon, Iron Kat!
Anyways, I got severe food poisoning/stomach flu coupled with the most evil sore throat since anthrax was disovered. Oh well, at least it was last winter.
