The construction worker one is very true amongst construction, as my father worked in constuction and a stamping plant.

The work accident commercials are cringe worthy and make me sad.

But the domestic abuse comercials are just silly. I love how the start of each one is "YOU STUPID BITCH!!" ahahah.

oh, but we had it here...on national TV...it showed a car running over a pedestrian in slow motion, with all details zoomed in...pretty cool...effects were top-notch.

i'm looking for it but can't find it.

We had a series of these sort of ads over here, but they were actually freakin hilarious for the most part. They'd start out looking like an ad for some kind of fruit bar or towel rack or something, and then BAM, face first through a glass coffee table. Trust me, after the 30th time or so you had to laugh. :D

Edit - When exactly did those domestic abuse commercials air? We'd never get away with that...
 
You got to admit though, that sometimes accidents happen. In general I think that everyone is coddled too much because everyone is afraid to get sued if a stupid baby swallows their product or someone burns their mouth trying to chug hot coffee. If you are good at your job you don't walk around with giant vats of hot water on slippery floors, or if you are fixing a light bulb you learn how to use a ladder properly.
 
wtf? seems a bit excessive for work place safety :| we dont have stuff like that here except for rad safety ones.

The one with the welder is actually true. It will create such an explosion like that.
