Laser Sentry?

So this was found a few days ago on SPUF in the TF2 gcf files.

Looks more like a laser sight than a laser weapon.

Well without the laser part of the image, the rest of the icon is the ordinary kill icon for a level 1 sentry.

Could be a strong indication that they went with the building enhancements instead of making all new buildables for the Engineer. Although, unfortunately all this is just speculation, the only undeniable thing is that they put that icon in there on purpose and I only say that because seemingly everything they do is done as part of some greater scheme.
