I think this is a good idea, no more "Lost Games", they're all archived and ready to be remembered in the future!

Sounds good to me. I never saw why video games are less important than books, anyway.
 
I can see it... 200 years from now, a young group of people peruse the library and discover some old games. One of the ones they see if Half-life 2, and they wonder to themselves why the game looks like a childs drawing in comparison to what they have.

And then Jack Thompson IV attempts to pursuade congress to destroy all the archived copies of games deemed unworthy of gaming history based on pixellated nipples and other bodyparts.

Yeah... they'll probably have games that incorporate all the physics they could ever dream of... games where they can make galaxies collide realistically, down to the molecular level.
