'Lost' Reference

Nice - if you've seen the show, this adds that much more bizarreness to the game.

i guess lost has some HL easter eggs too, cant find any though

in one episode, in a Sayid flashback, he's at a house and the people in the living room are playing HL on the PS2 (one of them makes some comment about the crowbar as well).

This was definitely posted already btw :p

And so it turns out the leader of the Combine is Benjamin Linus.

silo 2 entrance... hmm if ya go to aperturescience.com you see a small similarity ;]

It is the room where you meet Uriah (vortigaunt in labcoat) for first time.

In season 4 on lost, don't be supprised to see a mysterious "g-man" sneaking around the island.
Jacob is Gman btw.

And G-Man = Jacob ?

No, that wouldn't make sense.

The G-Man reference has actually already been done.
Jack's father in the suit and with the tie. He just walks around the corner and disappears.

Hmm. Its probably just a return 'favour' since they showed HL in one of the episodes, but it would be amusing to find a subtle non-plot-related link between Lost and the HL2 world.

I apparently need to watch Lost now....Actually, I wouldn't mind watching it, but I need money to get the DVDs so I can watch it from the start! :D

Someone should put a video up on youtube of the characters playing HL, and then show the reference in Ep2.

If there's ever a reference to the Office, I'll shit myself.

Ha! This is awesome. I've been watching Lost since the beginning and never put 2 and 2 together and realized these were references to Half Life. But now that it's pointed out.... it definitely makes sense.

Probably one of the coolest easter eggs I've seen.

what does the commentary thingy say in that area? Its included in the screenshot so can someone check? im to lazy

It says something along the lines of valve returning the favor to the writers of lost.

season 4? i thought it was going to be realeased early 2008, is it already out?!?!?!

uhm... No?

No as in already out or no as in its not out? All information i find states its going to be aired 2008. Plus i cant find season 4 the "other" way either...so its impossible that anyone can watch season 4 atm...

Edit: Oh...i think i missread ur first post. Thought you said that you are watching season4 by saying "in season 4". My misstake...

Okay, to resurrect an old thread: I took the numbers off the computer screen, thew them on Google Earth and landed in Africa somewhere...But when I reversed them, I landed off the East coast of Italy. Now, I know there aren't any glacers there (unless the Combine has really screwed up the oceans) but I just found it a strange coincidence that I wound up so close to Eastern Europe. So why the post? I'm trying to figure out why Apature had a room in a bloody Titan missle silo in the first place. Of course, sence I don't know squat about "Lost", this could all be irrelavant. At least it kept me occupied for a while....

Okay, it's not a Apature logo. So, that clears that up....But the numbers are still interesting...

HL references in Lost:
A bunch of Arabs are playing HL on the PS2 in one episode in a flashback.
Jack's father is the goddamn g-man in one episode in season 1.

It was useless, sorry.
