I think this is a training simulation and the G-man is just a guide through it all. You probably sign up and connected to this machine send you in to different scenarios wen the s*** hits the fan the guide or g-man saves you. But in the end its probably u waking up in a lab and they send u out to war.

nope. (don't mean to spam but there isn't much more to say :| )

Anything could happen? You should respect other peoples theroys. How do you know hes not right? i think thats a reasonable conclusion.

How? Why? You can't assume something when you have no basis for it, so unless proven right its wrong, just like in math and science.

Last time I checked this was called the Rumors and Speculation board… Which has nothing to do with objective analysis. The title is a disclaimer for what you’re going to find here.

Because we all know that our way of thinking is universally correct...

I dunno... seems a bit of a boring way to end the story to me.

End of HL3: Oh, you just destroyed the combine, but actually they don't exist. We were just training you, haha.

HL4: Medal of Honor....What- Omaha beach, again? In a hazard suit?

I just think Valve are a bit more creative than that. I'm sure they're not going to turn around and say "sorry you were in the Matrix"

They have their own storyline and I'm sure it's not going to follow Star Wars, Matrix or any other trilogy.

Possible spoiler for the book 1984:
They might give it a sad ending like 1984 though. Gordon finally accepts the combine is too powerful and is everywhere, cannot be driven out?

Nope.

Oh, and by the way - you're only allowed 4 lines in a sig.

I would like that honestly…

HL3 is going to be a MMORPG...ok I will stop this line of thinking.

A few people have mentioned it bieng all a training exercise, and in all honesty, i really, really, really doubt valve will follow that storyline...
