So well, it will sound stupid but here it is. Lately I have been wanting to become so awake that I wont need to sleep as much as the average person. Basically what I do is set the alarm 10 minutes after I sleep, then place it on the other side of my room. Once it goes off, I have to get out of bed and turn it off, then I stay awake for the next 2 hours and repeat this process. I do it 12 times a day (every second hour) and at first it makes you feel amazingly tired but after continuing it for some time you kind of adapt.

I use this technique when staying up overnight, except replace 10 minutes with 30 minutes. It's a short term gain, but I can handle it.

Good luck with adjusting, you need a very good stamina to pull it off, and it's not very compatible with a lot of jobs/school. How will you handle that?

Is this the same thing MiccyNarc was doing?

Because he died. He's dead. He died from lack of enough bed loving.

Indeed, I just couldn't do it. MiccyNarc's actually seemed sensible. This just seems odd.

This sounds really unhealthy. There is a reason your body wants to sleep, it needs it.

Ten minutes isn't even enough time for me to fall asleep. :|
