New shoes :D

My custom Converse Chuck Taylor All-Stars just came in the mail.

I don't really care about any type of trend, but I dig the retro style of these things.

I have trouble finding shoes that fit. First off my heel is pretty narrow and slides around in most shoes. Secondly, I wear a size 12 1/2 (American) and most stores don't sell half sizes past 11 1/2. The high top design and conforming fit fix both these problems. It's like my feet are getting a constant hug.

I need them to be mostly black for school, but I didn't want generic black or black/white, so I ordered some custom black/navy ones from the converse site.

I'm not usually excited by anything that doesn't end in me having an orgasm, but I finally have shoes that FIT.

Imagine those without the green stripe (solid black suede/white rubber) but with the insides completely bright green. Those are my shoes.

ALSO, skate shoes are amazing. They're properly hardcore bastards. When the nuclear apocaly[se comes, the survivors will be cockroaches and the feet of those wearing skate shoes.

I love these too, but they have to get f*cked up and "worn in" - they don't look nearly as good pristine.

The color is bad, but the shoes are nice. However, not enough surface texture breakup on the front part. I like breathing holes, and the appearance of fuzzy suede. Like the surface of a peach.
