Nobody seems to be Moving

whenever i start a game it load up fine and i cand get onto the gameply straight away but when i go up to a combine or a friendly they do nothing but i can still kill enemies and they'll still fall over.Plz help me coz i need to open a gate and only di gurl behind a mesh can do it(at da end of Water Hazard i fink)
