counting blue skies. that's really sad and almost pathetic.

yes i know china is going trough an industrialization, but today we know so much more, than what we knew 100 years ago.

we probably won't give a shit until the toxic clouds reach our lands.

What's your point? They're taking steps to clean up their air. And what does your topic title even mean?

You're right, it is weird that we have to have a "blue sky" target somewhere in the world.

But also, no you're right, that wasn't anything to do with a 'scent candle'. Wtf!

...wow, you two are thick. "Not exactly a scent candle;" scent candles make the air smell pleasant. Ever smelled heavy smog?

man i got to stop writing in metaphors

china is a big exporter of scented candles, esoteric oils and that sort of shit.

i don't exactly have a point since this is more of an info than an actuall debate.
it's just sad that they have to count clear days.

like it is really difficult to predict that putting industry near a city is a bad idea.

i'm sure they are taking steps but ain't it a bit to late to be embarrassed because of smog?

edit: also what darkside said

Presumably you won't be buying anything Chinese then.

Oh wait, you have a computer. You fail.

By the way, Trafford Park is only a few miles away from where I live. One of the largest industrial estates in the country - and the air is nice and clean all year around, even in the park.

Oi! I got it - it's just a useless thread title!

'China struggling to reduce smog in time for Olympics'

when did i said that? i never said they should stop the industry. it's just that for their own good they should have placed it somewhere else. and that it is too late to be embarrassed.

first of all...what kind of industry? does the local environmental agency thinks it's clean or that is your opinion?

In related news today, China has constructed the world's largest Air Ionizer. China is now proud to possess clear blue skies. The health of it's citizens is no less protected.
